Militants strike at three places in Jammu and Kashmir

Breathtaking attacks by the Militants of Lashkar -E-Taiiba, three granades were hurled at a police convoy in the outskirts of Sopore city. The granades were followed by heavy firing. They struck at three places, in Sopore, North Kashmir. Curfew was maintained in the violence hit areas.

The second incident took place at main crossing of the city in Sopore, injured a Jawan of Indian Reserve Police. Third one was planned at Sopore-Baramulla road, terrorists fired upon police vehicles,it left one police driver injured.

Militants attack injured two policemen, Armies didn't go for their flag marches in Srinagar. The District Administration asked the force to remain in action in case of an emergency. On the occasion of Shab-e-Mehraj, a religious function and Friday prayers, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah planned to give relaxation in the Curfew.
